For a third year Pentreffest is returning to the Norwegian Church Cultural Centre in Cardiff for a weekend of  Scandinavian Music and Dance. We have world class musicians from Norway and Sweden in concert, plus dance and music workshops and dancing till the early hours in the wonderful venue of the Norwegian Church and the fascinating Goleulong 2000 lightship, on the waterfront of Cardiff Bay.

 

In addition Pentreffest is supporting another day of dance organised by the Aberystwyth Fest Noz group and is planning some evening workshops and dances. Watch this space for more details.

Pentreffest is an innovative, voluntary organisation which aims to encourage the development of traditional social dance events as a means of increasing a sense of community.

The emphasis of events will be on opportunity, inclusion, participation and fun. Everyone, regardless of age or ability, is encouraged to ‘have a go’.
